At the moment, we're in the process of buying a house and moving across the state.  Wheel rentals are suspended for the time being.

If you'd like to try spinning on a wheel but aren't ready to take the plunge and purchase one just yet, renting a wheel from Hello Yarn is a great solution.

You'll need to  live in or around Boston, MA, USA and be able to pick up and return the wheel to me in Dorchester (very easily accessible by T and 93).  This is a very simple wheel to operate, so you should be able to decide if spinning is right for you in a short amount of time.  Included in the rental is a loaner copy of Hands on Spinning by Lee Raven, which should help get you on your way.

The cost is $10 per week and you may keep the wheel for as long as you like.  If you wish to have a lesson with me, this can be arranged and costs $30 per hour, including materials.  If you decide to purchase a wheel from me, I'll deduct the amount you paid for the wheel rental.

I'll require you to sign a rental agreement and provide a $200 deposit, either in check form, which I will return to you when you return the wheel, or credit card, which I will not charge unless you do not return the wheel, or return it damaged.
